Two types of internships:

• Summer Internships (Two Months)
• Thesis Internships (Four Months)

There are limited spots available for internships in the following technical fields:

• During your internship period, you will work as a team to build a real web application from start to finish.  You will learn how to use the latest technologies and best practices using Scrum and Agile techniques and gain real working skills to build the application.
• Technologies we are using: Java, PHP, NodeJS, JS/React/Vue

• During your internship period, you will have the opportunity to learn the tools, and methodologies of manual and automated software testing while working on a real web application project with other developer interns. You will learn by getting hands-on experience checking QA samples and assisting in preparing technical and administrative reports and applying your knowledge within a full software development cycle from start to finish. 

• A Business Analyst internship is an opportunity for students who want to become familiar with the field and gather important experience in all parts of business analytics and technical analysis, from asking valuable and relevant questions to figuring out how data should be gathered and organized in order to yield and convey valuable results.

All our past interns have been offered employment positions either here at Code Engine Studio or at other software companies before their graduation. Here are some of their stories:

Software Engineer, Sephora Asia, Singapore

While studying web development at the Danang University of Economics, Truc wanted to gain more experience through working in a real business environment. After meeting Code Engine Studio’s founders, she was impressed with their transparency and generosity and knew immediately that she wanted to learn from them.

During her internship at CES, Truc learned many valuable things: “You will learn a lot about the latest technologies, programming and how to release a product as a team in a real software development methodology. But at Code Engine, you’ll have a mentor to guide you and give you advice whenever you need it and you are encouraged to get to know every member of the staff. Everyone always has time to listen and to collaborate with you on solutions.” Today, thanks to the skills she developed through her internship at Code Engine Studio, Truc is a Software Engineer for Sephora Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore.

Product Designer, Carousell, Singapore

Now a Product Designer at Carousell in Singapore, Trong credits his internship at Code Engine Studio as a major milestone in his/her life. As an engineering major at the Da Nang University of Technology, Trong was on a path to becoming a software engineer until he learned of the opportunity to apply his passion for design by learning UX Design at CES. Trong didn’t previously know about alternative options to a coding career, but now, thanks to the technical training and mentorship he received at Code Engine, he now has a successful and exciting career in UX design.

Trong is a major advocate for the internship program: “CES helped me to realize both my strengths and areas that I needed to develop further. Then, they gave me the chance to develop my skills by learning and practicing with real projects under the mentorship of the leadership team. CES was also where I really learned English thanks to their classes and their English office environment. English is a must if you want to work well in the tech industry. Take many chances as possible to learn and practice it. Code Engine is the best place for this!”

As a student of Marketing Management at the Da Nang University of Economics, Hà saw the Code Engine Studio internship program as a unique opportunity to stretch her knowledge about a different field. Through her research, she was impressed with the company’s investments in its team members’ continuous growth and the mentorship interns receive from company leadership.

After joining CES as a Digital Marketing Specialist intern, Hà received many valuable takeaways, but she shared with us that the most valuable was her change in perspective, inspired by the Code Engine Studio company culture: “My experience with the senior team was transformative. King was motivated to apply for a Developer internship with Code Engine Studio after hearing great things from friends who were familiar with the company culture. While studying at the Da Nang University of Science and Technology, King learned not only technical skills as a CES intern, but also improved his English language skills, working processes, and problem-solving skills.

After graduation, thanks to his internship with CES, King landed a job as a developer for MGM Technology Partners in Da Nang.

While studying at the Da Nang University of Economics, where she later graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems, Hảo also served as a Technical Analyst intern for Code Engine Studio. In this role she was given the opportunity to create a WordPress website, which Hảo later presented as part of her university thesis. She greatly valued her experience as a Code Engine Studio intern because of the company’s collaborative leadership, friendly working environment and the mentorship she received that prepared her for her current leadership role.

Đạt interned as a developer at Code Engine Studio while studying at the Da Nang University of Technology where he later graduated with a degree in engineering. During his internship, he worked on a team that developed a website that supports companies in managing their recruitment process.
